HabiJax ReStores are home improvement retail outlets that sell new and gently used furniture, appliances and building materials to the public. Proceeds from the ReStores support our mission to provide affordable homeownership opportunities. Assist with store operations such as sorting inventory, accepting donations, helping customers and more!
Restore shifts are available at both stores (103rd and Beach Blvd) Mondays-Saturdays. Shifts are split into 9:30AM-1:30PM, 2PM-6PM, or 9:30AM-6PM hours.
All Restore volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Click Apply Now for further details or to sign-up for your first shift!
HabiJax began with a mission in mind. In March of 1988, nine visionaries came together to incorporate Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville, Inc. (HabiJax).
HabiJax is one of the largest non-profit affordable housing builders in Duval County and is considered to be one of the most successful Habitat for Humanity affiliates in the United States, having provided homeownership opportunities and other housing services to over 2,300 families. HabiJax is a multifaceted organization and an advocate for affordable housing and fair housing policies to help families improve their housing conditions.
Mission: Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build safe, affordable homes, communities and hope.
